Organic Kaniwa

Kaniwa (pronounced ka-nyi-wa) a relative of quinoa, grown in Bolivia, it is the newest gluten free super food.  It is an excellent source of protein, fiber, iron, zinc, calcium and antioxidants.

This dark reddish-brown seed is about half the size of a quinoa seed, cooks faster, and contains even more protein, antioxidants and iron than quinoa! Kaniwa does not have the saponin, the coating that gives quinoa a slightly bitter flavor if not rinsed properly.

Try  organic Kaniwa today in place of oatmeal for breakfast or as a rice replacement at lunch or dinner

Tasty! It felt good to eat something so wholesome and so delicious. I have used it in homemade veggie burgers and as a porridge so far. For the price, I am pleased with how much I have received and look forward to purchasing again
